What can be engraved?

Any form of 2D graphics can be engraved. Such as text, logos or monograms. Pictures taken from camera can be engraved too, though it’s a process that can produce results that can vary greatly depending on a lot of factors.

What type of text is the best?

It depends on 2 things

  • Length of text. Is it a name, a line, or a paragraph?
  • Size of product. Is it a card wallet, a cig case, or a long wallet?

Best practice is to put less text on small products, or choose a bigger product for more text.
We offer a 10 font selection when you are placing an order, those fonts have proven to have the best output on engravings.

Which logos are the best for engraving?

It narrows down to the complexity of the logo. Line art and Outline vector are the best to have engraved. Logos with a lot of detail might get jumbled up and produce not so good results.

Not to worry, our design team will always guide and assist you properly on the matter.

Which pictures are the best for engraving?

You can get the best result from pictures if they are close up selfies. The more detail we can get in an image, the more prominent and authentic it will look when converted to a vector art.
We remove the backgrounds in all the images, so do make sure to crop the image as much as possible to show only the main subject that you want engraved on your product.

A Few tips to pick out the best image for engraving.

  • Do not share edited or filtered images. Keep it as natural as possible since our concern is with the fine details in the image, the jawline, lips, nose and eyes.
  • Make sure the picture is in neutral lighting, no dark shadows, or too bright highlights in the image. Use a balanced image with good lighting.
